This Spooner was made circa 1889. Findlay Onyx was made by Dalzell, Gilmore and Leighton Company of Findlay Ohio for less than a year and thus is rare art glass.

This spooner is 4½” high 1/4" and 4" in diameter at its widest point.

The glass is an opal yellow white color and has a pattern of daisies and stems in a raised platinum decoration.

It has one minor chip on the top edge which was hard to photograph. It is typical of this ware as the tops are rough and not polished.
